Must be a team player who is dependable and reliable
Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced, high energy environment on the roof
Weight handling can be over 45kg
On site work environment is outdoors and subjected to all weather conditions.
Work environment is on the roof and/or on the grounds that are dusty and noisy
Worker must wear necessary Protective Equipment including but not limited to Safety Boots
Own transportation is an asset

Couvreur/Couvreuse De Toitures À Faible Pente Et Manœuvre en Toiture
Atlas-Apex Roofing est à la recherche de couvreurs/couvreuses et de manœuvres en toiture pour des postes à temps plein.
Responsabilités
Effectuer la mobilisation des chantiers;
Retirer et éliminer les anciennes toitures;
Charger et décharger les matériaux;
Maintenir les chantiers propres et sécuritaires;
Installer, réparer ou remplacer divers systèmes de toiture.
Compétences et qualifications
Être un joueur d’équipe fiable et digne de confiance;
Être capable de travailler dans un environnement exigeant physiquement, dynamique et à rythme rapide, sur les toitures;
Être en mesure de manipuler des charges de plus de 45 kg;
Travailler à l’extérieur dans toutes les conditions météorologiques;
Être à l’aise de travailler sur les toitures et au sol dans un environnement poussiéreux et bruyant;
Porter l’équipement de protection individuelle requis, notamment des bottes de sécurité;
Posséder un moyen de transport constitue un atout;
Être capable d’apprendre et de respecter nos politiques de santé et sécurité;
Posséder une connaissance intermédiaire de l’anglais.

Ability to read and comprehend bid specifications and contract documents. Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to clients, consultants, and other employees within the company as needed.
Ability to understand and carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form and deal with problems in a creative manner. Must be a problem solver

Compétences et qualifications
Diplôme d’études secondaires obligatoire; diplôme d’études collégiales constitue un atout;
De 3 à 5 années d’expérience en estimation dans le domaine de la construction, idéalement en toiture;
Bonne connaissance des différents systèmes de toiture à faible pente, notamment TPO, PVC, BUR, et autres systèmes similaires;
Capacité à lire, interpréter et comprendre les devis d’appel d’offres ainsi que les documents contractuels;
Grande précision et souci du détail;
Excellentes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite;
Capacité à présenter efficacement de l’information aux clients, consultants et collègues;

Responsibilities:
Purchasing/securing materials for jobsites and warehouse
Scheduling/dispatching Drivers and coordinating deliveries
Negotiating pricing, Reconciling invoices – ensuring pricing/quantities are correct and sending invoices for further approval
Ensuring daily crew hours are entered for the purposes of payroll
Working with Superintendents to address material requirements
Working in liaison with the Superintendents and the Operations/Fleet /Equipment Manager to schedule material and equipment shipments, deliveries and loading
Communicating with architects, engineers, consultants, building operators, building owners, property managers, as necessary
Booking hotels, flights and rental cars as required
Liaising with service department and AARS projects as required
Managing and dealing with job site crisis, emergencies and/or unforeseen issues as necessary
Liaising, coordinating and communicating with subcontractors (gravel removal, cranes, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, etcetera) for proposed and/or actual work on site
Preparing and tracking all paper work (inspection reports, deficiency reports, change orders, etcetera) relative to individual jobs and dispense to management
Updating/uploading information on company operating systems
Assisting in pre-project hazard assessment, set-up, pre-load, mobilization, production and demobilization
Taking part in company training
Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
Must be fluent in English and French
High school diploma a must. College degree a plus
3-4 years construction purchasing
Good understanding of roofing materials

Responsabilités
Installer, réparer ou remplacer divers systèmes de toiture;
Effectuer des inspections diagnostiques et des interventions d’urgence;
Réaliser des travaux de réfection, d’installation et de démantèlement de toitures;
Participer à un horaire de garde (sur appel), au besoin;
Effectuer la mobilisation des chantiers;
Retirer et éliminer les anciennes toitures;
Charger et décharger les matériaux;
Maintenir les chantiers propres et sécuritaires.
Compétences et qualifications
Être un joueur d’équipe fiable et digne de confiance;
Être capable de travailler dans un environnement exigeant physiquement, dynamique et à rythme rapide, sur les toitures;
Être en mesure de manipuler des charges de plus de 45 kg;
Travailler principalement à l’extérieur, dans toutes les conditions météorologiques;
Être à l’aise de travailler sur les toits et au sol dans un environnement poussiéreux et bruyant;
Porter l’équipement de protection individuelle requis, notamment des bottes de sécurité et un gilet haute visibilité;
Posséder un moyen de transport est un atout;
Être capable d’apprendre et de respecter nos politiques de santé et sécurité;
Détenir un certificat de compagnon (TQ) ou le Sceau rouge constitue un atout, sans être obligatoire;
